A well-established international customs clearing and freight forwarding company is on the hunt for a Logistics Controller to join their growing team. The successful candidate needs to ensure the efficient management and control of all administrative functions within the operations department. The incumbent will also be responsible for all administration functions inherent to the position. Ultimately perform a key role in providing good customer service and ensuring client satisfaction and retention.

  • Matric with a minimum of 3 years’ experience in an administrator position. Knowledge of the transport industry an advantage.

Roles and Responsibilities 

  • Completing daily operations reports.

  • Completing monthly operational KPI’s.

  • Data capturing

  • Development and administration of operating procedures and work instructions

  • Filing

  • Assist with project related activities

  • Assisting with any other general administration duties/functions as required by your superiors.

  • Handle client queries and problems.

  • Ensure accurate communication between all parties in carrying out all job.

  • Assist other departments such as billing, commercial, debtors, etc.
